This clinic was first opened in September of 2001 by Julie after the birth of her third son. It was formerly known as "All About Kids Speech". Julie has been a speech-language pathologist for 19 years. This clinic offers speech therapy in Lithia, FL, and caters to individuals of all ages from infant to adult.  Our team has extensive experience in speech, physical and occupational therapy.

Our team will make sure to give you and your child the attention that you need in order to assess the problem, find a solution, and give the treatment necessary to make them successful. We understand that not everyone is the same, and we'll design a program that is personalized to your needs.

Julie Kogut, MA, CCC-SLP

Owner/Director

Julie has a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has 21 years of experience working with both children and adults in numerous settings (private clinic, hospital, and schools). She opened this clinic in 2001 after the birth of her third child. As a mother of four children (three boys ages 22, 18 and 15 and a daughter age 8 years), she is able to provide not only the clinical aspect of speech/language reading disorders, but the "mommy perspective" as well. Over the past 15 years, she has been providing evaluations and treatment to numerous families. She has expanded her clinic to include two locations and other services including physical therapy and handwriting therapy.

Mandy Matteis, MPT

Physical Therapist
Mandy Matteis is a physical therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience in treating orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and pediatrics. She has worked in an array of clinical settings including outpatient (adult and pediatric), home health, skilled nursing, and aquatic therapy. On a quest to help her son who suffers with sensory processing disorder that affected his written communication, she became a certified handwriting specialist through the program Handwriting Without Tears. She has been treating children of all ages at Tampa Bay Speech using the program with great success. Mandy received a Masters of Physical Therapy from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA.

Amanda Mackney, SLPA

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Amanda Mackney is a former graduate of the New York State University at Fredonia, earning her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Amanda has been a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) since 2012 and has worked in a variety of settings such as; Primary and secondary schools, and clinics in both Vermont and Florida. She specializes in children with disabilities such as Autism and enjoys working on social skills, and functional communication.  In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her friends and family, physical fitness, and oil painting.
